Are You Ready?

How many times in your life have you heard that question? Your spouse (the one that’s never late) urges you, Come on, we’re going to miss our flight! A friend shouts, Hurry up, we’re going to miss the opening! A child screams, The ice-cream man is about to drive away! You get the idea. Which one are you? The one who’s never late or the one at whom everybody is yelling? At some point, you either realize that you’ve got to take charge of your schedule, or that an investment in air pods or ear plugs must be made (I hear the ear plugs are cheaper). As you already know, some people will wait for you, but some people won’t. Some companies will extend grace to you and some will not. Some deadlines are just that. DEAD-lines. Once the time has passed, it’s gone. You either wait for the next train or you go home. To save yourself some over-priced angst, it is highly beneficial to know which people/organizations are the grace-givers and which are not.
When it comes to the end of ALL time, when it’s ALL over, and it will end, mark my words, may I be so bold as to say, you’re either going to heaven or to hell. On time. Now, I know that’s quite a statement. And it’s harsh if you don’t think about this kind of thing, or maybe you do think about it at certain times of the year but shove it away, like an old sweater you’re tired of looking at. But let’s face it. The signs are everywhere. You had to have known something was awry in these last 10 months; it’s something the world has never experienced before. A pandemic in addition to a worldwide shutdown of the economy. Now might be the time to look into it, because when the time has run out, it’s over. You will have missed your opportunity. There will be no grace extended to you. You won’t be able to use the Wait! I didn’t know! excuse. Even though nobody ever actually told you about God, and I’m sorry about that, you can see that something created this universe. The evidence is astounding. Use your eyeballs (the most magnificent camera) that He created and look around! He is in nature, in the birth of living beings, the universal standard of right and wrong, in space, and in the holy Scriptures (the Bible). There should come a time in your life when you know something isn’t quite right. In your soul. But then again, maybe you’re all set. You’re good with who you are and what you’re doing, and there’s no need to look into it any further. But, just in case, you might want to look into it sooner rather than later. If after researching you find that you’re right, then no harm done. But what if I’m right? What if I’m right and you’re wrong? I certainly wouldn’t want to take that chance. Check out what the scriptures say, But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father (Matthew 24:36). For you know quite well that the day of the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night (I Thessalonians 5:2). All you have to do is believe and accept the fact that Jesus Christ died for your sins. Receive his gift of salvation! Absolutely Free. Look it up online or send me a comment and we could certainly chat at length about it. But do hurry…
