If you have to bring an appetizer to any party, this one will get you at least 10 friend requests. You’ll be the talk of the town, the life of the party, the shape of things to come. Okay, maybe not the shape of things to come, but the other 2? Yes. Three ingredients are all you need to get this party started.
- 1 block of Velveeta cheese (please ladies and gentlemen, NOT reduced fat Velveeta. It clumps. Start your diet after the party)
- 2 cans of Rotel diced tomatoes (Yes, it needs to be that brand)
- 1 tube of breakfast sausage browned (Bob Evans, Jimmy Dean, or Tennessee something-or-other works great)
That’s it. Brown the sausage until it’s not pink anymore and drain off the grease. Dump the drained sausage, cheese, and tomatoes in a crockpot for 30 minutes or until the Velveeta melts. Before you dip those amazing Fiesta (my favorite brand of all time) corn chips in there, just be sure the dip is piping hot. I mean, my mouth is watering right now just thinking about this cheese dip. And I don’t even like cheese!
